Both headlights along with fog lights stopped working. I checked the fuses and found that both right and left headlight fuses were blown, so I replaced them....after which both headlights started working same way with right one dimmer. They worked for one minute and stopped working again with blown fuses.

Then it dawned on me that even though this fuse wasn't blown, perhaps the physical damage on one of the legs was a symptom of the cause of the problem, so I replaced it with a new 30 Amp fuse and voila, problem solved.
